The Latino Cancer Institute is proud to announce the appointment of its Founder and Executive Director, Ysabel Duron, by President Joe Biden to the National Cancer Advisory Board (NCAB).
The NCAB plays an important role in guiding the Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in setting the course for the national cancer research program. As a Latina and a long time patient /community advocate it humbles me to join this roster of stellar new appointees. I look forward to the challenge of amplifying the voices of racial/ethnic communities and other vulnerable populations.
