Dr. Manali I. Patel is a medical thoracic oncologist and health services researcher at the Stanford University School of Medicine and the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System.

Her research focuses on developing and evaluating interventions that address system-level barriers to equitable cancer care. She designs and studies care delivery models that aim to improve patient experience, clinical outcomes, and reduce unnecessary healthcare utilization while addressing disparities in access and treatment.

Dr. Patel earned her MD and Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her internal medicine residency, fellowship in hematology and oncology, and Master of Science in Health Services Research at Stanford University.
